  • Addressing Glitches: If you encounter issues, such as an extra space in the Aadhaar number field, remove the space and retry. These are known glitches that may persist until they are fixed by the authorities.



How to Create Ayushman Bharat Vay Vandana Card on Portal


For those who prefer applying through the web, here are the steps to enroll using the official portal:


Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

Step 2: Login to the Portal

  • Enter the captcha and your mobile number, then authenticate using OTP. Click Login.

Step 3: Find the Enrollment Banner

  • Look for the banner labeled "Enroll for Senior Citizens Above 70" and click on it.

Step 4: Enter Aadhaar and Mobile Details

  • Provide your mobile number, captcha, and Aadhaar details. Click Search.

  • Note: If errors occur due to an extra space in the Aadhaar number field, delete the space and retry.

  • This may return a blank screen , scroll down to click " Refresh this Page " ( another glitch :) )

  • Now your aadhar number will be prefilled , Now click verify and enter OTP.

  • If this doesnt work for you , Change your browser and try again , there are number of issues for this web app

Step 5: Handle Missing Aadhaar Details

  • If the system does not find your Aadhaar number, click on Fresh Enrollment.

Step 6: Authenticate Aadhaar

  • Enter the OTP sent to your mobile, agree to Aadhaar usage, and click Allow.

Step 7: Complete the Declaration

  • Enter both OTPs on the declaration page. The system will display the beneficiary’s eligibility.

Step 8: Proceed if Beneficiary Details Are Unavailable

  • Click on None of the Above and proceed to the next step.

Step 9: Upload Photo and Details

  • Capture and upload the beneficiary’s photo and other required details. Ensure the device you’re using supports photo uploads. ( in my case there was only option to use direct camera ) If issues persist, try using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Step 10: Add Family Members

  • Provide details of family members and confirm all the information entered.

Step 11: Download the Card

  • Once the application is approved, download the Ayushman Bharat Vay Vandana Card. This may take around 15 minutes.



How to Avail Ayushman Bharat Vay Vandana Card on Mobile ( this was not working when writing this app , after 3 trials this worked once for me )

  • If the beneficiary is not found, initiate the eKYC process by consenting to OTP-based Aadhaar authentication.

Step 6: Provide Additional Information

  • Submit a declaration, capture a photo, and provide any additional application details.

Step 7: Enter Mobile Number and OTP

  • Confirm your mobile number using an OTP.

Step 8: Add Beneficiary Details

  • Fill in additional details, such as category and PIN code.

Step 9: Add Family Members' Details

  • Provide details of all family members and proceed to submit.

Step 10: Download the Ayushman Bharat Vay Vandana Card

  • After eKYC approval, you can download the card directly from the app.
